About the only way to hook a great stereo setup this cheap is by setting longer term searches on eBay and watching what comes through there, or getting lucky at a garage sale. There's only 3 that I would bid on without testing them first, and they are all Altec Lansing. Of course, that's assuming the seller states that they are working.
