> Whatever happened to just buying a stack system?

He he, I was just thinking nothing has changed since Jerry and Dick would escape from Laura and Millie, in Jerry's stereo den. Guys and hardware. Guys and cars.

My 63 Park Ave Cadillac. The fastest production Cadillac until they put a 500 cu in engine in the 69 or 68 eldos.

Here's the band I'm going to see this weekend:

Stolen Babies "Awful Fall" Dec.06 Live at the Knitting Factory in good old Hollywuud.

When was the last time you went to see an accordion playing, heavy metal, goth, polka cabaret band with a beautiful clown woman who screams more deadly than most punk singers?

Its Halloween in Hollywuud. They charge you extra if you don't dress for the show.

Please don't hesitate to use me as a resource in identifying speakers or other components that will meet your needs. I take great delight in helping people to get good sound.

One of my favorite memories is of watching a woman who is now one of my oldest friends smile the first time she heard her new sound system. Her room environment had been extremely challenging, with a two-story wall of glass on one side (overlooking the bay and the southern end of Manhattan on the 25th floor in Brooklyn Heights), and a half-balcony on the other, so that there were listening areas both upstairs and downstairs.

Having designed the system for her, I then installed it, which took several trips. It was a lot harder to get done than I had anticipated, but I never gave up. When she sold the apartment, she sold the system with it. It really was a part of the place.

The system wasn't terribly expensive, but it sounded great in the space. And it produced that special smile that I value so much. And we've been good friends ever since.

Just my usual long-winded way of saying that I'm quite serious about helping to bring high-quality sound to the world, one room at a time.
