TLC et al,

I can't believe I'm corresponding with a 12-foot chicken, but:

One key measure announced on Wednesday by new Finance Minister Lim Chang-yuel allows the won to fluctuate 10 percent up or
down from an opening rate compared with a previous 2.25 percent trading band.

The won promptly fell to its permissible 10 percent low an hour after the market opened. It ended the morning session at that daily
limit low of 1139.0 to the dollar from Wednesday's closing rate of 1035.5.

Why did the chicken cross the road? To show the skunks and racoons it could be down!

Hi TLC,

I sincerely doubt that Bonnie was offended, but I will let her speak for herself as she would anyway <grin>. My post was toung in cheek. I think that the females on this thread, in fact on most of SI, are perfectly able to deal with any comments with which they take issue. Most female professionals that I know are as bored and frustrated with agressive political correctness as anyone else, provided the intent to insult is not present. I enjoy your posts and was just adding to the banter.

Steve

Keep it up, TLC, if they can't take a joke *$%^'em.

However, I think shorts are about to get an unpleasant smack by Iraq. Tension didn't knock down markets, but being kissey faced will fuel an upmovement. Oh, well, being a bear has never been that profitable.

Regards, DWW
