I'm typing this from Honolulu, my wife and I are here on a vacation. We were walking on a very, very upscale boulevard last night and I saw an Apple Store. It was about 7pm and they were packed. When we returned from dinner at about 9pm, I found that the store was still very busy. I should note that the store was very classy and upscale like all the other stores.

I know that this is just a sample of one, but I found it interesting that the store was packed on a Monday night.

I don't think we have to worry about it for quite some time. Complaining about the statistical flattening of traffic into the Apple Store is rather akin to complaining about the lack of growth in traffic into Grand Central Station when it's already packed. Largest corporation by market cap, highest retail sales per square foot, and he wants to point out that floor traffic statistic across 2 quarters as a sign of trouble?
