'The problem we have now originated with Ronald Reagan. Somehow his simple minded cowboy notions took hold and became for many a cult religion. George W. Bush took it to the next level. I don't think I have to keep repeating what he did. The rich got richer, the middle class got screwed, and the bottom 150 million people for all practical purposes went bankrupt.

Stop with this Obama bashing. Obama inherited a mess. He saved us from a global financial disaster.'

I am in total agreement with you.. Obama did what he could given the circumstances. Maybe health care timing was off and should have been a second term issue though i understand Dems were as excited as the GOP was in 2001 to finally get to control the cookie jar (and you know how that one ended after six years).

Reaganomics though might have been what was needed 30 years ago. But making it into some cult religion that is gonna save us now is the biggest joke of all IMHO

Clinton repealed Glass Steagall and regulations on trading of derivatives. Bush let it all run crazy with no regulations. The banks were involved in major fraud. Should they not be prosecuted? Are they above the law? The evidence of major fraud is out there in an indepth congressional report.

It was unregualted CDO's and CDS's that caused 08. Stiglitz, Sach's and Krugman say you are wrong about what Obama did.

So you say stop with the Obama bashing as he did a wondrful job and we should all be very happy. Do I believe you or Sach's, Stiglitz or Krugman?

Or does it not matter that Wall Street has their boot on our throat.

We have the largest income dispartity since the 1920's. That is a fact. Is that OK?

And how about not prosecuting people who torture? Is that Ok too?

Should we just dispense with the constitution as well? Are we a nation of laws or men?
