Cain is a man who is competent to run a business. Even a good-sized business. But he has no real clue when it comes to running a country, and his 9-9-9 proposal is terribly regressive. If the problem in this country were that the economic deck was stacked in the favor of the middle class and poor, Cain's plan would make sense. That's not the problem, though, is it.
