Hawk, what Europe will do or will not do regarding the currency expanding the ETSF is all very political and it's hard to know without backchannel knowledge of what they will do or won't do. The EUR/USD has had such a high correlation with US stock performance, I have a guy I consult with and he watches the EUR intensely during the day and his short term strategies are heavily influenced by transpires with the EUR/USD.

One thing I have been meaning to mention to Paul is that since Oct is ending, we are now entering the seasonally strong portion of the year. Novemeber and December are seaonally strong for stocks.

and the intestingly thing about those 5 day High Low charts, the negative reading of - 4770 we register recently was an extremely oversold level, one that we had seen on only a handful of occassions.

My Reading of FAS

I use a technical system based on the 20, 60, 120, 240 days M.A.. My reading about FAS is that it is just starting to trend upward with 24-25 as my initial objective.
