I recall Japan having a "lost decade" yet their crime rate remained a small fraction of America's. Right...now we'll delve into the the cultural differences between western and eastern societies...NOT...look to Europe for more appropriate comparisons...countries there are rife with good examples of what happens when wealth becomes overly skewed...
