<What is surprising is the way that everyone is ooing and ahhing over it.>

Well if we don't ooh and ahh it, who will?

BTW, congrats on successfully conjugating those verbs.

P.S. I know you'll be happy to hear this is my last post until I buy back into IOM. I have always believed most of the posting on these serious threads should be left to those who are earnest. So until then, over and out.

<<Since Motley Fool has a financial interest in IOM, it is not surprising that they would come out with that hype piece. What is surprising is the way that everyone is ooing and ahhing over it.>>

Not true and misleading as well.

I have been reading all of the MF's columns for the past 2 years. The mere fact that they have a position in IOM does not mean that they will do everything in their power to hype IOM. keep in mind that only the Fool port has an interest in IOM, not the entire operation. If you have ever read the evening news column, there have been instances that some companies that took a dive on a particular day, owned by some Fool ports, were reported in that column with stright fact. This is, in my opinion, what seprates MF from all other websites that are trying ti copy them. They realize, more than anyone, that credibility is key.

FIDO: Huh? If you are referring to HeyKerry's report on Comdex, you are way off base. Your suggestion that the Motley Fool somehow "engineered" this report strikes me as kind of bizarre. HeyKerry is an individual investor (like you or me) who happened to take the time and effort to GO to Comdex and report on his impressions. I thought the report was imformative, exciting and, yes, entertaining. I also think that his willingness to share his impressions with the rest of us (you included) is an act of selflessness that needs to be applauded....not denigrated.

Bill Polk
