I don't understand your point of view. What do you have to complain about?

Understand first, I am a hard core liberal yellow dog democrat. I have never voted for a Republican. I was also in politics for 30 years including a run for our state legislature and won my primary 2 to 1 (I won the debate), but the oil companies poured money into my Republican apponent and he way outspent me and I lost.

I was also part of the ad hoc democrats that took control of our house of representatives in the 70's and shaped Alaska to make us one of the most liberal states despite the right wing trying to undo what we did in the 70's. I was in hte inner circle of helping several democratic governors get elected. My ex was the first chairwoman of the women's commission and her husband speaker of the house.

I know politics. I asked my wife about Obama and she said: "he is green".

But here is what my complaint is, and you tell me what I should think?

Ron Suskind tells the story about how Obama called together the 13 top bankers in the country for a meeting. They were really scared and nervous. Obama came in and told them: "I am here to protect you from the public". They would tear you apart (paraphrased).

Obama told the bankers straugth out he was there to protect them! Is that what we voted for?

After the bankers left, they realized that everyting Obama was doing (like bonus clawbacks) was "for show" (Suskinds words) and they had nothing to worry about. so Obama was tricking us.

And Geithner's philosophy which Obama really likes is "do nothing" to hurt the bankers. His rationalization is "first do no harm". Geithner is still there. Summers all the while was undermining Obama with regard to his sexism (Roemer et al) and helping Wall street, yet Obama keeps him. Geithner was openly protecting the bankers.

These bankers almost destroyed the world's financial systems and cost middle American's trillions of dollars and great pain while engaging in massive FRAUD!. Millions of people have lost everything and the aged have suffered greatly; all the while Obama refused to prosecute them and has been protecting them (as he said he would do). To date not one banker has been prosecuted.

So the bankers get off scott free and make bigger profits than ever and Obama helped them do that.

Maybe that is fine with you, but it sure is not with me. Read some of Matt Taibbi's reports on wall street and Ron Suskinds book.
