Paul: Thank you very much for your comments!! Jokingly of course, "what rock have you been hiding under?" Thanks again, Jerry.

Paul: Thanks for your very informative post. It helped me get a better handle on my investment. Do you have any idea of who is doing the selling? Looks to me that buyers are about equal to sellers at this point with sellers maybe having a slight edge lately and not all that many of either. Seems like most are just holding for the long term like me.

Yes, Paul! Thanx for the insightful post. I agree, the holiday season (this quarter) should bring ALAN a profitable quarter. I'm counting on it. I picked up a few shares before the shareholders meeting hoping for some positive sentiment (especially after all of the uncertainty leading up to the meeting). Unfortunately, nothing happened to the share price. So, I dumped those shares for the loss on commission. Why would I do something so stupid on the apparent eve of profitability? Well...I'm gambling that I'll be able to pick those same shares up within a month and a half at a lower price due to tax loss selling. (One person's risk capital is other person day trading capital.) I could very well be wrong...that's the gamble. But I'm not sure that anything else could push the stock price up significantly before the next earnings report. So, we're stuck with the concept of tax-loss pressure.
Otherwise, I agree that $3, $4, or even $5 is not outside of the realm of possibilities for the longer term. CDSI in the USA IS most likely a pipedream, but I'm still behind ALAN as a whole. And, I *will* be back before the next earnings report, hopefully for the long haul at that time.
Good Luck to all!
