Best advice I have seen on this thread.

I know you have been saying it, but it doesn't hurt to keep repeating it. Thanks for your contributions.

I need to keep reminding myself every time I am tempted to "time" the market. With stocks like CPQ, it won't matter in the long run. Obviously, I am not a trader (but I sure like reading about all of them).

Good luck to all

Steve, do you see more price cuts in the near future? If so, do you view this as positive?

Steve: Thanks for the advice. I always listen carefully to determine where I need adjusting or revamping my methods.

However,

did you notice? An up day, Nasdaq currently up over 8, but CPQ off 7/16, Dell off 1/2, ASND down 1/4, and INTC "no change".

I'm still sticking to my comments. I have a hunch AMAT will blow earnings and there will be a big sell-off on Friday.

Hope I'm wrong for your sake.

Mark

Steve: re post#9214 ... Now approaching buy-zone. Charts don't lie! My original estimate was 56 - 59 by early to mid-week. We hit 59+7/8 today. Tomorrow should go down more. Buy zone = Tues or Wed. I am quite happy with my predictions, though I don't think anyone believed me when CPQ was happily trading at $67+ !!!

Hope you have cash to throw at this one! (at the right moment, of course).

Good luck in your trading.
