Re: "now vs. then." Versus when? (I told you I have been paying attention to the public approval ratings of Congress for decades now... and I have. If you think that Congress' strong disapproval ratings is attracting 'undue' attention from the Press right now consider the fact that it is just now hitting RECORD-BREAKING low levels. Possibly that might have something to do with the attention. And, I'd argue that the attention is actually understated. Public's attention span in this age of infotainment and public circuses being what it is --- short and easily diverted. )
