Obama cannot continue moving from far left to just the left and back again...voters see right through that. Jobs and the economy require leadership that Obama has not provided, hence his poor polls.

You haven't a clue. Liberals don't give to conservatives because their candidate is too moderate. They may pass or sit out, but they won't change sides. You are witnessing Independent voters exercising free will. Something liberals don't seem to have or believe in. Those supporters are unhappy with Obama trying to be too much of a moderate or centrist. Obama can regain their support by moving to the left.
