Similar in Toronto and Vancouver... Very large proportion of Asians and South Asians..

One major difference though is that the south Asian community has a lot of folks in jobs like Taxi drivers and airport security... I don't think I've ever seen a Chinese cabby in Toronto where I live.. although Shanghai was loaded with them :O) Lots of small entrepreneurs in both communities (South Asians and folks from the Middle East heavily into convenience stores and franchises).. Many more Chinese doctors still although south Asians making inroads there in recent years as those populations make huge increases....
