<<1. Public policy that transferred wealth to the super wealthy, started wars we didn't have to fight, didn't budget for, and deregulated all the save guards in social safety nets and regulations in doing business. Compare that to:

2. Going on a witch hunt to find people who committed massive fraud, petty crimes, and the small percentage of corrupt public servants.>>

I hardly see it as a witch hunts. The rule of law is at stake here, not to mention busting up the plutocracy that has us by the throat. Put a few of those folks in jail where they belong and they will stop that stuff. Right now they get to buy their way out of jail.

I think you are greatly understating how much fraud was involved.

<<I am not saying we should pardon all the wrong doers, but where should we put our resources in trying to restore the health and welfare of our country. >>

Bringing wall Street under control would be a good first start. They trheaten our demcoracy. The banks must also be broken up. They are too big to fail and too big to jail.

Bo Biden, AG of Delaware said all 50 of his AG's felt the fraud was pervaisve and needed prosecuting. Rachel Maddow asked him: "why are the feds not doing anything"? He slipped the question as his dad is VP.

<Why squander on the chips that we have for low return activity - like hunting done financial criminals - who for the most part are clever, have resources, and tie things in courts for years.>>

Squander. You see prosectuing systemic fraud as squandering our chips??
