My students are always turning me on to new bands. I'm not a fan of rap- but a lot of the music my more intelligent students listen to is really good. I remember a few years ago one of my students recommended the Books to me, and I really liked them. I played classical music when I was young, but I like many genres now. I think the older I get, the more I appreciate. That's a view from the center of music, right? :-)
