I don't know if anyone else has reported any information on ASND booth at comdex, but I just thought everyone would be interested to know that while cisco, bay, lucent, all have very large and visible booths, Ascend is in an obscure second floor, tiny office that is not visible to most. (Which is where I would want them if I were taking them over) Also US sales are strong of asnd this quarter, so are shipments. I also talked with one of Bays engineers, and he had some interesting opinions on the question of the 56k modems, and which will become the standard. He sits on the standards board and said that neither will become the standard. More later. I will be here for 2 more days if anyone has questions that I could answer. Ted
