About that shorting that started Wednesday's slide, my out of the area broker informed me that that particular firm (who, in this litigious society of ours, shall be called Firm X) had just yesterday called the Company, asking for shares to cover other short positions.

When the Company refused to sell shares to Firm X, Firm X made the decision to short on Wednesday morning with avengeance.

Interesting huh?
