my experience as value investor and technology is poor. it seems that technology stocks especially are cheap for a reason. their growth stalls as their technology becomes outmoded and the brighter minds in the company move on for more lucrative pay packages and the value investor gets a bargain based upon the past not the future. apple was the exception not the rule. I am not a big fan of female ceos in general, and i really question whitman's judgment in joining yet another board as director shortly after taking over the wings of a huge company like HP. We all know about the HP board whose previous decisions have been discussed here and right now my wife's mantra is about our next printer being anything but HP. Im avoiding.
