I just learned of an additional 2860 shares and certs will be requested tomorrow!

How many should we be aiming for to get a real choke hold? Is any mechanism in place to hear from the non SI members (like an offsite E-mail address?)

looking forward to tomorrow....

Allen

Just another reminder about the request for certs. The impact of this request won't be rammed up Shorty's back side overnight. My broker told me the request does take some time,on the order of 4 to 8 weeks.

I repeat this because I know it's easy to get impatient waiting for an action to cause an impact. I'm not intimately familiar with the behind the scenes process that ultimately gets the certs to the shareholder, but there will be some dead time during which no pain has yet been inflicted upon the Shorter. During that dead time, they will request a number of time extensions. After a certain number of those, they will get a Federal Reserve slap on the wrist and may have future restrictions placed on their trading activities and ultimately the pain of covering will then occur.

I just don't know the exact time parameters associated with these events. I do know that by the time we receive the certs, the damage to Shorty will already have been done. In the meantime, just be patient.

If anyone can enlighten us with a step by step process and time line, please do.

TIA
