I don't think Bentway really cares as long as he still has the ability to speculate. But really, what do these guys want anyway? Do they really think their liberal utopian ideals represent "progress"? The whole OWS nonsense should be proof that they're raising nothing but a bunch of rebels without a clue. Liberal elitists like Soros and Buffett want to regulate a system that has treated them so well yet has screwed over millions, even billions of people, so that wealth is "redistributed" through representative bureaucracies. It's like they truly believe that if everyone is made "equal" in terms of wealth and possessions, a lot of societies' ills will simply go away. There are two problems with that kind of thinking, however. One, they're making the wealth gap worse with their ill-conceived policies. Two, even if they were to succeed in shrinking the gap, they won't solve a damn thing. Decades of failed communism should be enough proof of that. But no matter what, they rely on non-productive freeloaders like Ted and Bentway who think they can change the world via "ends justify the means" tactics. You know, whatever it takes to win, even if it means ripping up any sense of morality and character. That explains why they will never address their own hypocrisies and double-standards. It's all about "their side" winning by any means necessary. Tenchusatsu P.S. - Krugman is also proof of this. He declared a few years ago that he'll be focusing on attacking the opposition, since obviously he's tired of "proving himself right" over and over again. What a conceited jerk.
