John: Since the companies no longer exists as a publicly traded stock.(Energy East) ( merger of NYE&G & RG&E) . They as far as I can tell won't be paying out dividends any more.

On September 16, 2008, Energy East now known as Iberdrola USA, became a wholly-owned subsidiary of Iberdrola, S.A., therefore, Energy East’s common stock is no longer publicly traded. Prior to becoming a wholly-owned subsidiary, Energy East’s common stock was listed on the New York Stock Exchange and traded under the symbol EAS.
