Yes, the storm was an anomaly but it's happened before with worse results than this one.....temp is 45 F today and melting is occurring rapidly....but it did a lot of damage, thousands without power and much damage to trees and branches.. I had one tree split in half and major branches on two others break and fall.... We were without power for about 10-14 hours..... Had a helluva time finding a place to get breakfast this AM....gas stations had lines waiting.....
