Any devaluation of the dollar is not likely to happen for another three years, i.e., until Clinton has completed his term without being forced out by impeachment. Like Dale Davidson, I am inclined to think that the US Government is, at times, covertly manipulating the market to make the dollar strong and to please the investing public in order to make Clinton relatively popular so that he might escape 'scot-free' from any impeachment proceedings against him. After all, no one likes to go after the scalp of someone who is popular, eh?
