Yes, I agree with you there: the rich have created a system of crony capitalism that has destroyed our economy. Then they are wanting to impose austerity on the 99%. If I were King for a day, that's the first place I'd start to fix things. I would only get around to fixing SS and Medicare, after I'd made damned sure corporations and banks and the rich were stopped from raping the Treasury. Then I would see how much room we had to keep SS and Medicare around. If I found we couldn't afford them, then I'd cut them back. But first, I'd tackle the bigger problems that have been created by the crony capitalists, including Obama's Administration and Bernanke.
