GLENN,thks for getting some intelligent data in front of the naysayers out there. The reality is that even at $40 COMS is undervalued compared to industry p/e norms.I'm not an accountant but I do know enough about business that no company will take a writedown on excess inventory unless they believe that the product will not sell, even at a discounted price. In this case the product will all clear, albeit at a reduced price, hence the slightly lower future earnings estimates. This company will still produce a 30%+ earnings growth 99/98 which bodes well for substantial capital gain if your long at $33+. Glen, Nice name<G> The jury is still out on COMS. There is an amazing amount of verying opinions about their growth. Being long 33+ seems like a great position. I am unfortunatly long at a much higher price. The 30% earnings growth I do not see as a pronblem as you indicated. Glenn
