daniel, you were still in high school when I help start cpq and owned their stk before it was public,,,,,
As a pioneer of the pc industry being called naive by someone who doesn't know dittley on the industry is a new low<ggggg>
Guy, you really have to be joking right<ggg>????
I've now been though 31 cpq crashes and you don't even know what a cpq crash is???
plus, you post absolutely zero facts on cpq to back up your statement...
post some facts are at least say..I don't have any facts to support this..it's a hunch.
I think I should allow hunches...
but, don't infer you have allot of facts to back up your stance on cpq or the pc industry.

CPQ is on record as saying that while Asian sales may slow down, Europe is coming to life. Then there is the world's largest economy (by far), the USA.

That said, here is my view on the Asian problems (just so you know I don't feel like I'm being naive). I don't see the Asian economic problems as being minor. I believe almost every industry will be affected, if for no other reason than imported products from Asia to the US will be even cheaper, due to currency issues and competition among Asian companies as they struggle to succeed. Price wars can be delightful from the consumer end, but downright scary for a business, as I'm sure you're aware. It will be company specific in regards to which companies are affected to what extent, and therefore the stock market is going to be even more of a minefield than usual going forward.
