As I said several times earlier, we cannot ans should not fight a war on our credit card and less still take money from the Treasury to serve as a refund to the rich when the war is going on. But instead of doom and gloom and frustration, I remain very confident in America's ability to jump right back, provided the obstructionists cease and desist from their tactics and quit serving as agents for the rich. This is not class war. This is hard facts and a repeat of history as we have seen unfold in pre-communist Russia and China.

Now look at this politics of destruction. Accusing Cain of sexual harassment instead of dissecting his 9-9-9. Reminds me of the Monica situation when US remains titillated with what happens i n somebody else's bedroom instead of what happens on Main Street and Wall Street.

" It was Socrates, I believe, who said that as soon as the people know they can vote themselves a paycheck, that Democracy would come into decline."

Wow! THAT quote is attributed to EVERYBODY!

I think what it really refers to is the "Reagan Revolution", where people learned they can vote themselves tax cut after tax cut, while demanding more and more government services.
