So who is the racist? Well, that seals your right wing nonsense. It was Dixiecrats (southern conservatives)that wore the white robes and all changed to Republicans after the 1964 civil rights act they were so upset with integeration. And the dirty little secret is the Republcians told then they would not enforce the laws any more than they needed to. And the Republcin party was the liberal party when Lincoln was president ( Lincoln was a liberal) and until Teddy Roosevelt and then it was reversed, so since then the Republicans ahve been the conservative party e.g. Hoover. You might want to read some history to get your post right.
