I agree.. but it is more complicated than that.. we have some outstanding care here.. but like anything the government manages... there is way too much waste.. happened to my wife.. spot on a mammogram.. followup in three months..

I say Whaaaaaaaaaat? you don't mess with that stuff.. get a followup right away or we go to Buffalo...

Squeaky wheel had followup a few days later.. Being informed and squeaky really helps... My B-I-Law is too complacent ... you NEED to advocate for yourself.. Margaret Wente wrote about that a couple of years ago when she needed hip replacement..
