Where there is smoke, there is usually fire.

Sometimes there are smoke scenes, which is what this looks to be.

Come on, Ted. There isn't even the slightest bit of evidence. This was a leftwing reporter who tried to do a hatchet job on Cain.

If you can't admit that you haven't a shred of integrity.

Why do you always take these crazy stances where you defend a GOP pol who shouldn't be defended? Seriously, Dave, you do it all the time.

First, Politico is hardly leftwing.

Secondly, the story was vetted pretty thoroughly and the Cain camp was asked to respond two weeks prior to Politico going public. They did not respond.

Thirdly, the woman who made the accusations is trying to find a way legally to come forward. She is incensed with Cain's comments that its much ado about nothing.

Like I said, where there is smoke there is usually fire. And let's not forget.......he's an R. Enough said.

Not to worry though. He will still write his book; you all will still buy it and he will still make his millions.
