Pete, et al:

Things are quiet on the Cherokee front. Technically, the 21-day moving average is creeping up to the stock price, which will put a test on the strength of the stock at about 14.25.

If the 21-day MA holds, the next logical step will be a test of the old intraday high at 15+. A breakout above 15.25 will be very bullish, especially with the holidays and the January Effect just around the corner. Technical target is 16.5.

If the 21-day MA fails, the next support level will be the 50-day MA at 13.625 or so.

Relative Strength is flagging a bit, volume is evaporating, and MACD momentum is downward, so it looks as though the stock is trying to bore us into selling. I'm actually tempted to buy more, based on Yahoo's listing of CHKE's operating profit margin of 81%. I see kids wearing the Cherokee logo almost every day, and the stuff appears to be of good quality. I can't see an excuse to get out quite yet.
