somehow I agree with you, however, your dealing with Sony not syquest or some of the other no name companies.

I get the feeling that IOM could have come up with diskettes that could hold say..120 or 140 mb, however, they chose the 100 mb for simplicity and ease of marketing.

Have you ever noticed that when Compaq is advertising a system with a Zip that they never mention Iomega. The ad just says "100mb Zip drive." No mention of IOM what's so ever.

william, do you know if iomega is going to ship oem zips with the same specs as the zip plus?
