Agreed with what you say. So are you saying that we need to socialize the banks. Because that is what I understand what socialism means.

It seems that theft and criminal behavior is now a way of life in the good ole US of A. And some folks on this thread still insist that we continue to ride this merry-go-round. This is not news........and its not new. This has been golding on forever........don't your remember the CEO in the late 90s who gold plated parts of his bathroom, using company funds. The rich have been having a field day for years. Ninety nine% of Rs are in bed with those people as well a good portion of the Dems. However, there are lot more Dems who are clean than Rs. BTW the gov't isn't bailing out IMF or any other hedgie institutions. It helped the banks because without them, the country would have been screwed. Its a fact of life. None of us like but we didn't have much of a choice.
