Cain knew ten days ago that this was coming. He should have contacted all concerned and known everything that there was to know about it. Then dumped it all out on Monday, good or bad. His excuse for not doing so is pathetic.

He should have come out minute one and said "yes, I was charged with sexual harassment over a decade ago while at the NRA, it was a completely fabricated charge and against my wishes counsel convinced me to settle out of court to expedite putting the case behind me. The settlement included provisions to not discuss the issue further. This is one reason I support TORT reform, we need to remove the incentives in our overly litiguous society. Phony litigation cases are costing our businesses millions and wasting resources that could be better spent growing the business, instead of putting dollars in the back packet of Obama's leading lobbyists".
