Joyce disciplined my daughter if she needed it, which was rare. Couple of times I do remember was when she was about four. Once she stole some candy and another time she hid a little girl's purse under her dress that we didn't notice till after we got outside the store. Both times we took her to the store managers. The purse was at a Walmart. The manager there told me if they had caught her they would have arrested me and that some parents had their kids steal things. * * *
