They should just expel Greece and get it over with.

All those who like democracy must be thrilled by the idea of a Greek referendum: <Merkel: this decision by Greece has changed the situation significantly. >

There isn't really much of a problem. Greeks dump the debt. The people who loaned Greece money lose their money [having made stupid loans, they deserve to lose it]. The other Euro countries evict Greece from the EU. Greeks can continue using euros if they want to, or US$, or NZ$, or drachmas.

If those who loaned money to Greece go bankrupt as a result, their assets get sold to the highest bidder, such as maybe Barclays Capital or me. Those who made the loans can find work more suited to their talents such as digging ditches in Greece for optical fibre to be laid.

Those who are paid too much to be kleptocrats in Greece will also need to get real jobs such as making me souvlaki when I go on holiday there to stay in my holiday house, which they can build. Some of them could administer tradable citizenships.

Greece has got an amazing opportunity to lead the world. It's weird that Greece is seen to have a problem. The creditors have the problem.

Meanwhile, 2020 reglaciation/Little Ice Age looms and hordes of northerners will be wanting to escape south. Selling Tradable Citizenships would be highly profitable and cause an economic boom. Greece could easily be the best country on Earth.

This referendum is not happening. Papandreou will either fall on Friday or referendum bill will not pass through Greek Parliament. | #Greece
