I have many personal right wing friends in my town. And I love them and would do naything for them, but they drive me nuts. They have no medical insurance yet they vote Republican and hate liberals. Wonderful folks, just misguided. Obama is up from a 41% approval rating to 47% approval (since October) since he made a left turn and started fighting the right wing head on and quit blaming "both parties" for the gridlock. So those who felt we liberals were giving aid and comfort to the enemy by questioning Obama and putting pressure on him, were wrong, as our goading him into making a left turn was more important than giving aid and comfort to the right wing. As we said it would be. And they have to listen to this for a while, as they beat the shit out of us for telling the truth. I still bear psychological scars from that beating-lol.
