>I discovered that I had an intense interest in trading the financial markets. Since then I have never looked back. And like yourself, I think it will always attract me.

Then you like I, have the fire. I tell people that have an interest in investing for themselves. Talk is one thing. Learn and understand, then do it . I also have another saying. "You worked hard , and took time to make money, take the time to make wise investment choices. ®®"

I manage only my own personal accounts ( taxable, 401k, IRA),but do give advice to help my father manage his retirement account. I don't think I would have it any other way. I like the responsibility of having to answer only to myself. I have in the past given meetings where I work to inform and encourage employee participation in our company's 401K plan. When I say in time to diversify. I mean all kinds of assets. % gold , stocks/bonds , real estate, fixed income, If you don't want to manage stocks and bonds yourself pick a good mutual fund with a good long term record.
