Doing nothing does not create jobs

It is not congress's job to create jobs.

Doing nothing allows the economy to stabilize so that businesses can back to doing business.

I understand that, as a lawyer, you are automatically programmed to think that lawmakers are the solution for everything. But it just ain't so.

Businesses are supposed to create jobs
Congress is supposed to make laws

Congress should get back to doing their real job and quite getting in the way of the people who want to create jobs.

Contrary to what liberals believe, this country was founded on the concept of the government NOT solving our every problem.

Corzine and regulator worked together at Goldman Corzine and lead regulator of MF Global worked together at Goldman and on Capitol Hill By Daniel Wagner, AP Business Writer | AP – 13 minutes ago

WASHINGTON (AP) -- The lead regulator investigating the collapse of Jon Corzine's securities firm, MF Global, worked alongside him for 18 years at Goldman Sachs Group Inc. Gary Gensler, chairman of the Commodity Futures Trading Commission, rose to become Goldman's co-head of finance before leaving in 1997. Corzine left in 1999, after serving as chairman and CEO. The two also collaborated when Corzine was a senator and Gensler worked on Capitol Hill Harvard Business School Professor Jay Lorsch says it would be wise for Gensler to recuse himself from the investigation because of their ties. Gensler's agency is trying to find out how hundreds of millions in clients' money went missing at MF Global. Corzine's representatives declined to comment. Gensler's spokesman did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

How many jobs would a draft create. It might give most of the OWS mob paying jobs with room and board healthcare and a good pension plan. They already like sleeping under the stars in tents.

The country needs another yacht tax. Remember how much revenue that tax raised or how many jobs that congressional tax bill created?
