Yes, I hear you. But what about compassion for my kids who are going to inherit a bankrupt country? They are a few years from entering the workforce and they are going to be lucky as hell to find a job. I'm more concerned about them than I am about my old mom and dad. They've lived a good life. I want a good life for my kids and my old dad will say he'll choose them over himself any day of the week. That sounds brutal, but I think we should all think about the future, not staying so focused on the past.
