Your emotional reaction is surely akin to that of most people who saw the video, however that does not create new law. Most statutes excepting homicides etc have a statute of limitations and crimes have to be reported and acted on within the legal framework of the statutes.

Now the laws of the state of Texas and the limitations are no very different in all 50 states. There is one area of law that could possibly be used in prosecution of the beatings and that would be the Federal Civil Rights arena, but it would also be stretch as I don't recall them being used for old crimes other than homicide.

>> Statutes my ass, that bastard is a torturer of his own daughter..... Statutes of limitations ....what would Jesus say..

Statutes of limitation have nothing to do with Jesus or anyone else. They're there for a purpose.

Why don't you see if you can get a posse together and maybe you can string him up.
