As your film critic I feel I would absolutely have to accompnay you on those overseas junkets. How much more authentic my reviews of foreign films will be when actually SEEN in a foreign country(need not be the country of origin, and with Chinese flicks absolutely will not be). And what about our action/adventure Hollywood trash (not that I'm being judgmental) how is that REALLY received overseas. I think all this requires lengthy, expensive and in-depth investigation.

...must accompany you on these little jaunts, particularly the European excursions.. . I will have to see that I get a good expense account, using the argument that I just have to spend money if I am going to hang out with the wine folk. If I can't swing it, maybe you can go along as travel writer...
