Oliver --

Good advice. I have 300 17.5s and will exercise at least 200.

TI seems to be responsive to my concerns and has assured me the deal won't fall through if I put my shares into the second-stage of the merger. I figure by being cashed out in '98 I'll not only have an extra year to use my money but have more shares in the 18 mo. category as well.

If there were a way to negotiate TI shares in place of cash, I'd do it. Why do shareholders have so little power???? (Rhetorical questiion.)

Cheers!

Pat
