'Nearly 86% of Mahattan is Democrats.' You do realize most of the WS cronies have abodes in very posh hoods of the tri-state area far away from Manhattan. The city is made up of many students, it is still the media and fashion capital of the world and behind only LA in the film industry. Many of the largest global enterprises have offices there.. You've also got the United Nations and tons of Asian tourists taking pictures just like Disney World. Maybe more southerners should take a trip up as it might educate them...lol
