Everyone, I read with great interest all the comments made by all of you and one thing that we all share in common is a total frustration with the performance of this stock since the DCA order was announced. It has been about the most atypical behavior of any stock I have ever seen especially in the generally rising market we have had. These facts you may already know. My source is BASELINE. a NY research firm and Wachovia Capital Management, a very conservative money management firm located in Winston Salem NC. 3.4% of CYI is owned by Institutions or 321,000 shares,308,000 have been purchased in the past 4 months.None have sold. There have been 6 insider buys and 1 sale in past 3 months. Net buy is a -67,000 shares. 250,000 sold and 183,000 bought. Relative price change 52 weeks -58.7% and YTD is -39.6% Short interest current month 1,000 shares Short interest previous month 3,000 shares This data is from Market Guide Inc. There is unlimited authorization to issue stock. Short term debt 1.1M @ prime + 1.5% Long term debt 329,000 @7%-12% and 3.1M @ 9.5%-10% The Beta is 0.7 3 year rev grwth 78.94% As of 11/7/97 there is one Research Coverage Analyst. He is Mr. Thomas Taylor Chesapeake Securities Suite 211 Baltimore, MD 21204-4829 and his phone number is 410-296-7740 Nothing else has helped and we are relegated to waiting for the coming announcements and the end of the quarter. May I suggest that we all take pen in hand and (1) Write Mr. Hawk and info Mr.Skoff every single concern we have and let him know how many shares you are holding. No one has said but I feel that collectively we have a goodly number. I'm sure you know that Thomas Stafford [ NASA astronaut and retired General is on the board of directors ] Send him a copy of your letter. It cannot hurt and just possibly might do some good. As I have said, I am going to McLean before Christmas, so far, no one has sent me any qustions yet to present. I'll be happy to, of course, but I honestly believe they would have greater impact if you wrote a letter. I can see that there are some thinkers on this thread and to be sure we can mount some kind of campaign to stir management into some candid answers. There is something here that just doesn't jibe. Sorry for the lenght of this msg. My email address is on the thread. Also, I suggest calling Mr. Taylor as these guys have the access to many things we don't and pick his brain...
