I'm letting time get away from me. Next thing you know that wrist thingamajig will be stored in some box on the floor of a closet and you'll be back to normal. And hope the tingly/numbing sensation is gone too.

I make a killer chocolate cake with killer chocolate frosting. My whole family just expects that is what they'll get on their birthday. Once in awhile I throw them a curve and do something different. Man do I ever hear the whining then. ggg

Please add Sandy to your lists for awhile. She is my Mich DIL's sister. We just love Mich DIL so much and having her sister heal well would be such a nice gift for her.

I keep forgetting to ask you guys to pray for Sandy.

She's having surgery on Wed. on her her wrist, the one she has arthritis in.

Dr. will fuse it. A metal bar and cadaver bone will be placed in there and drilled together.

So she won't be able to move it, but the goal is to get rid of the pain she's had for 40 years.

This is something she's known for years that would need to be done, but nobody (she or the drs.) wanted to do it until it was absolutely necessary.

Also, all along hoping 'someone' would come up with a better procedure/solution.

She was also told, 'This is one of the most difficult surgeries to recover from.' Not sure if that means pain only or coping or what.

To prepare, she had to quit smoking (bones will not fuse if tobacco is in system) and get off her regular pain meds (I think they found a replacement for her that didn't have blood thinners in it that seems to be working ok.)

Thanks,
