Sounds like you saw a good game for a very good price. As for the Rangers, I can see how a long suffering fan could have switched to the Islanders back then quite easily. <g> Interesting that you would pick Gump as the best goalie, he was my second-cousin ... I'd have said Dryden myself, though. For the rest, they were all great, but Gretsky and Orr are at the top of my list. (My father's generation of Montrealers would have included Howie Morenz, but I never saw him myself)
