Thanks Don for all your hard work. There are a lot of ways that P/E's are reported. Obviously if you are bullish you want to see the P/E of your investments reported as low as possible. That way your stocks, or the market in its entirety, look as undervalued as possible.

It's all relative and who knows which way is right to portray things anyway?

We all want to make money.

Does it matter whether the P/E of the S&P 500 is 19.6 or 15?

Probably not much.

What matters is does the rally that started in early October have legs?

Or is it doomed to failure leading to lower prices for stocks? I don't know but I respect the work done by ECRI enough to wonder.
